Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has alleged that President William Ruto used to show up at his house crying and begging for his help.

Speaking during an interview with Obinna on Friday, the former DP explained that he joined forces with the president out of sympathy.

According to Gachagua, he did not have a written agreement with Ruto, but only relied on word of mouth and the loyalty he thought they shared. ''I had no single document on the agreement.

The guy would come here and cry real tears, 'My brother, please help me, I am a Christian, I am a good man, help me', and out of sympathy, I said okay,'' Gachagua alleged.
