As part of a wider initiative to improve service delivery and tackle emerging challenges, several Cabinet Secretaries have announced changes to appointments across various ministries.

According to a gazette notice published on May 16, Cabinet Secretary for Energy and Petroleum Opiyo Wandayi appointed Martha Nyangwaria to be a member of the Board of Directors of the Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority for a period of three years.

Wandayi also made changes to the Board of the Nuclear Power and Energy Agency after appointing Ann Michura as a member for three years.

At the same time, Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba appointed Eugene Masombo to be a member of the Board of Trustees for the President's Award.
