There was drama in Elgeyo Marakwet town as hundreds of students from Moi Girls' High School, Kapsowar, walked out of their institution in protest.
The girls, still dressed in full school uniforms, left the school premises and walked towards Kapsowar town, screaming and chanting slogans that exposed their frustrations.
Learning at the school was temporarily disrupted, as the students marched out of their school, with reports suggesting they were protesting against their school principal.
In images and videos seen by Kenyans.co.ke, the students can be heard chanting "Our principal is hard-headed", reflecting their dissatisfaction with the school's leadership.
