Kenya has entered a deal that will see thousands of citizens flown to the United Kingdom to work across various sectors.

The deal, signed on Monday between Diaspora Affairs Principal Secretary Roseline Njogu and the Channel Islands, is meant to employ Kenyans in the UK in various sectors, including education, IT, healthcare, construction, and hospitality.  The agreement states that thousands of Kenyans would be flown to the UK territories of Jersey, Guernsey, and the Isle of Man, boosting foreign remittances significantly.

The agreement signed in Jersey will allow the UK to tap into Kenya's pool of highly sought-after hospitality professionals.
