Foreign students wishing to get absorbed into the Kenyan curriculum can expect to do their qualifying test within the next three weeks, the Kenya National Examinations Council has announced.  In an update on Tuesday, May 20, KNEC announced that the 2025 KJSEA qualifying test will take place between June 9 and June 11.  This test is a crucial one for learners joining the Kenyan education system from foreign countries or alternative education systems in Kenya.

KNEC further revealed that the timetable for the three-day assessment has been uploaded on the council's official website.

Through the qualifying test, foreign learners are able to formally register for the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), putting them on the same academic wavelength as their peers within the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).
