A bizarre incident was witnessed in Garissa County recently, after a Member of the County Assembly stormed a restaurant wielding a knife.
In CCTV footage obtained by Kenyans.co.ke, the Garissa-based MCA was captured on video dramatically storming an establishment while brandishing a knife and chasing a group of terrified women.
The footage, dated May 17, 2025, initially shows two women rushing into the restaurant in distress before the MCA follows seconds later, swinging the knife with one hand.
Things turned more alarming as the MCA was seen on camera aggressively pursuing the women around the dining area and into the restaurant's kitchen, disrupting normal services at the establishment.
