President William Ruto has appointed former Turkana North MP and East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) member Christopher Doye Nakuleu as his new Senior Political Advisor, further expanding the growing list of presidential advisers in his administration.
While congratulating him on his appointment, Beatrice Askul Moe, Cabinet Secretary for the East African Community (EAC), praised Nakuleu's vast expertise, signalling that he was well-positioned for the job. ''Congratulations, Christopher Doye Nakuleu, on your appointment as Senior Political Advisor to President William Ruto,'' Askul wrote.
Nakuleu brings decades of political expertise to the State House, having served as a two-term MP for Turkana North (2013-2022), EALA representative (2007-2012), and Speaker of Turkana County Assembly (2022-2023).
