The Sh.270 million Gichugu Affordable Housing project in Kianyaga, Kirinyaga County is now complete and ready for occupation.
The 110 units' project that was launched by the President in August 2022 comprises 40 2-bedroom units, 40-one bedroom and 30 studio apartments all available for purchase through Tenant Purchase Scheme (TPS).
The project has not only transformed the skyline of the Kianyaga town but also increased the investment as it will provide decent homes and modern living spaces to the residents working in local authorities, schools, hospitals and the business people.
During the construction phase 160 individuals got the opportunity to work for 2 years which enabled them to acquire skills for future workmanship in public and private projects.
