Nyeri County Women Representative, Rahab Mukami, has donated a substantial amount of foodstuffs to Wandumbi Special School, a centre for children with disabilities in Nyeri County.
The donation, which included rice, maize flour, beans, cooking oil, and sugar, was aimed at supporting the school in its mission to provide for the nutritional needs of its students.
During the ceremony held at the school grounds yesterday, attended by school officials, teachers, and students, Mukami expressed her commitment to improving the welfare of vulnerable groups in the county.
She emphasized the importance of ensuring that children with disabilities receive the best care and attention, not only in terms of education but also in their daily needs.
