Former Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) board chair Irungu Nyakera has urged churches to apologise for encouraging Kenyans to vote in the President William Ruto regime.
Taking to social media on Sunday morning, Nyakera, who is among former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua's allies, highlighted the mysterious murders of two Kenyan priests in the past two weeks.
In the statement, he urged Kenyans to pray for church leaders so that "they may continue to speak the truth boldly, without fear of being silenced." "In just two weeks, two priests have been assassinated in unclear and disturbing circumstances.
These are the same clergy who stood at the frontlines in 2022, urging Kenyans to elect this administration," he stated.
