State House Senior Advisor Moses Kuria has criticised former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, accusing him of attempting to impose a dictatorial grip on Mt Kenya politics through coercive tactics and political intimidation.
In a sarcastic tirade, Kuria mocked what he described as Gachagua's obsession with control, claiming the former DP was using his newly launched Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) to manipulate leaders and voters in the region into submission.
Kuria alleged that Gachagua was already exerting pressure on Murang'a Governor Irungu Kang'ata, warning him that failure to support the DCP could cost him re-election in 2027. He further mocked Gachagua's alleged intentions to personally vet aspirants seeking the DCP ticket, insinuating that the former DP wanted to eliminate candidates he deemed "unfit" for his political agenda.
