Six companies - three in Nairobi, one in Kakamega, one in Kiambu, and one in Migori - have announced the auction of vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, and other household items According to a gazette notice dated May 30, 2025, the auctioneers include Auckland agencies, Cobbs Auctioneers, Sofina Auctioneers, Simba Corporation, East African Sea Food Limited, and the Spectrum Auctioneers.
The Spectrum Auctioneers said that It will within 30 days auction 11 motorcycles, 32 bicycles, and other electronics and household items, including TVs, a laptop, gas cylinders, clothes, mattresses, scrap metals, a photocopying machine, a table, and tent stands if they remain uncollected at the Kakamega Police station.
The motorcycle models include TVS, Boxer, and Honda.
The East African Sea Food Limited announced that it will dispose of office Items and equipment which are lying at its premises, at Alpha Business Park along By-pass, Nairobi, through public auction or private treaty if they remain uncollected in the next 30 days.
