A section of elders in Embu County has called on leaders in the UDA party to stop blame games and embrace dialogue to sort out their differences.

The call comes two days after Governor Cecily Mbarire claimed during Madaraka Day Celebrations on Sunday that there were senior government officials trying to undermine her authority.

She accused the alleged detractors of holding secret meetings in the county ostensibly to plot her political downfall, adding that she will not take it lying down and will fight back.

The elders from Nyangi Ndiriri Cultural Group expressed concern that the political tiff between the leaders was unhealthy and would only serve to derail development in the county.
