Nandi Hills MP Bernard Kitur has alleged that his life is in danger following his continued push to expose an organ transplant syndicate linked to a private hospital in Eldoret.
The hospital is suspected of carrying out illegal kidney transplants.
Speaking when he appeared before the National Assembly Health Committee on Thursday, June 5, to help in the inquiry, the MP claimed that the continued threats to his life happened as recently as Wednesday evening.
He revealed that this intimidation was coming from the hospital's officials, detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) and even local leaders.
