The Democracy for Citizens Party (DCP) Deputy Leader, Cleophas Malala, has revealed that his driver was the subject of a horrific assault over the weekend.
While sharing images of his brutalised driver, the former Kakamega Senator claimed that the Kakamega OCPD, alongside three other officers, had attacked his driver while in pursuit of him.
According to Malala, they trailed his official vehicle, and after realising he was not present, they ordered the driver out and assaulted him with a gun before locking him up at Kakamega Central Police Station for hours.
Eventually, Malala claimed that his driver was taken to Kakamega General Hospital as the officers tried to delete images taken on his phone without success.
