National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula has sent a warning to Kalonzo Musyoka, cautioning the Wiper Party leader against the emerging political alliance with former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Wetang'ula, while speaking during a women's empowerment event in Kitui Central on Monday, June 9, described some members of the opposition as divisive, as he urged Kalonzo to avoid allowing Kenya Kwanza's adversaries to dictate his political affiliations. "To my brother Kalonzo, don't allow anybody to make friends or create enemies for you.
Your friends are not necessarily someone's friends, and your enemies are not someone's enemies," Wetangula said.
Without directly naming Gachagua, the Speaker appeared to take aim at the former Deputy President's recent political tactics, describing him as a 'man driven by a spirit of bad temper'.
