Samuel Moroto officially launched the 2025 Kapenguria Constituency Bursary Program at Kamito Girls High School.   The MP, who presented a cheque worth Sh58 million to school principals and students as parents and the local residents looked on, emphasized that the bursary programme is designed to ensure inclusive and equitable access to education across all levels, from basic to tertiary learning.   Speaking during the event, Hon.

Moroto noted that education is the foundation for development and transformation in marginalized communities and a significant step toward uplifting living standards in the region.   "Today marks a critical milestone in our journey to bridge the education gap," said Hon.

Moroto. "Through this bursary, we aim to ease the financial burden faced by many parents and guarantee that no child will be left behind because of school fees."   He also promised to have a serious meeting with education stakeholders on the issue of student strikes which has become rampant in the recent past within the county and urged parents to visit his offices and discuss matters of education.   Hon.
