Foreign Affairs Principal Secretary Dr Korir Sing'Oei has reiterated the government's commitment to advancing plans to deploy more Kenyan youth workers abroad in the ongoing job creation strategy.

The initiative, dubbed "Kazi Majuu" (Jobs Abroad), aims to open up economic opportunities for Kenyans by facilitating their placement in countries with a high demand for various skills.

Dr Sing'Oei stated that the government is actively negotiating bilateral labour agreements with multiple countries to secure employment opportunities for Kenyan youth. "The Kenyan market is not generating enough opportunities for our youth.

That's why the government is looking beyond our borders to help them secure meaningful employment abroad," he said.
