Alfred Cheruiyot and Janeth Chepng'etich showcased remarkable endurance and determination as they were crowned winners of the Barng'etuny Mountain Run held over the weekend in Tinderet.

The event, which attracted over 2,000 elite and amateur athletes, covered challenging mountainous terrain, testing participants' stamina and resilience.

Cheruiyot emerged winner in the men's 14km race conquering the rugged terrain in an impressive 1:23:18.

Ken Koros and Richard Atuya took the second and third positions respectively.
