Turkana County Assembly is mourning the death of Deputy Speaker and Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Nanam Ward, Ekuwam Philip Lomuria.
Assembly Speaker Charles Lokiyoto confirmed that Ekuwam passed away on Wednesday, June 11, while receiving treatment.
Ekuwam began his political career as a councillor and was later elected as MCA in both the 2013 and 2017 general elections, during which he served as Deputy Speaker.
