The Government intends to recruit a total of 116,000 teachers by 2027, Deputy President Prof.
Kithure Kindiki has revealed.
Speaking at Kasikeu Market Thursday, Prof.
Kindiki disclosed that 24,000 teachers would be employed in December 2025, and that the government has so far employed 76,000, making a total of 100,000 teachers recruited since 2022. "Previous governments have been recruiting only 4,000 to 5,000 teachers.
