Calls to shun tribalism and embrace a brotherhood spirit in the country dominated a church service held in Olokirikirai area in Narok North Sub County.
The service was attended by senior political leaders led by Governor Patrick Ntutu, National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichungwa, President's Aide Farouk Kibet and National Assembly Majority Whip Silvanus Osoro.
Ichungwa asked residents to beware of politicians with ill-intentions, who spread tribal messages in a bid to divide the country. "The 'Mt.
Kenya' was not named after any county because it is a mountain that unites all of us as Kenyans, those trying to use it to spread tribal messages do not have the good will of all Kenyans," said Ichungwa.
