President William Ruto personally reached out to the late blogger Albert Ojwang's family through a phone call to pass his condolence message, it has been revealed.
The late Albert Ojwang's father, Meshack Ojwang, made the revelation on Monday, June 16, after returning to his native Homa Bay following a week in Nairobi, where he initially went to follow up on his son's case before learning of his death.
Ojwang was confirmed dead on Saturday, June 8, in a death that has sparked a chain of events, including personal intervention from the president.
While expressing gratitude to President Ruto, Meshak Ojwang also revealed he was honoured to have received a personal call from the Head of State, whom he claims empathised with him in the wake of his son's passing.
