Nominated Senator Hezena Lemaletian has claimed that her life is in danger, accusing a politically connected family in Samburu County and their allies.
In a statement, Hezena said that if anything were to happen to her, one particular family in Samburu and its political allies should be held responsible. "To my friends and relatives: If anything happens to me, one family in Samburu and its allies in the political class should be blamed," she stated.
According to the Senator, the unnamed family had previously threatened her late father, and now they appear to be targeting her.
