Police in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, have recovered liquor worth Sh4.5 million believed to have been stolen from a local depot.
Speaking to the press, Laikipia East Sub County police Commander Daniel Kitavi said that they nabbed two suspects after a tip-off from the members of the public.
The suspects are expected to be arraigned in court upon completion of the investigation. "About 10 people broke into a depot at railways in Nanyuki and made away with bottled alcohol worth Sh7.5 million.
We later got information and launched an investigation.
