Former Chief Justice David Maraga has officially declared his presidential bid for the 2027 General Elections.

During an interview with NTV on Wednesday night, Maraga declared himself the Gen Z presidential candidate, stressing the need to mentor young people. "Yes I am the Gen Z Presidential candidate.

I have children and many people have children.

We must mentor young people so that they take over from us," Maraga stated.
