Former Teachers' Service Commission (TSC) Chief Executive Officer, Nancy Macharia, has been nominated to serve as the Chairperson of the Murang'a County Public Service Board.
In a notice issued by Murang'a County Assembly on behalf of Governor Irungu Kang'ata and dated Wednesday, June 18, Macharia was nominated to oversee appointments in the county public service.
She was nominated alongside four other individuals, Louis Musikali, Johnson Kang'ethe, Brian Lishenga, and Oscar Kimani, who were designated as members. "Under Section 6 of the Public Appointments (County Assemblies Approval) Act 2017, the County Assembly received notification that the Governor of Murang'a County Government, Irungu Kang'ata, has nominated the following as Chairperson, Members and Secretary to the Murang'a County Public Service Board," read part of the notice.
Murang'a Governor Irungu Kang'ata addressed residents at a past event in the region.
