A total of 729 youth from all the wards in Elgeyo Marakwet county will be hired under the climate workx programme.
The county commissioner Dr.
John Korir said out of these, 705 will be hired to undertake various duties and will earn 500 daily while 24 will be hired as supervisors earning 550 per day.
He added that the group will be divided into two with each cohort working for 10 days that is two weeks for the next two months.
