Nambale Member of Parliament Geoffrey Mulanya has called for protection of girl children in the community.
Speaking during the commissioning of a 300-capacity storey dormitory at Elwanikha Girls Secondary School in Nambale, Mulanya said the girls were more vulnerable, hence the need to be protected. "Our girls are faced by many challenges in our community.
We should stand up and protect them.
Many of them have been denied further education by their parents immediately after they finish the first level.
