Youths from across Kilifi North Sub-County in Kilifi County turned out in large numbers at the Kilifi Township Chief's office to confirm their selection in the latest phase of the Kazi Mtaani program.
The national initiative dubbed 'Climate Works Initiative,' which aims to economically empower young people through temporary public works in sanitation and infrastructure works employment, continues to attract significant interest nationwide.
The shortlisting and verification process, overseen by national government administration officials, was organised ward by ward, covering areas such as Sokoni, Kibarani, and Mnarani.
Each ward had a designated quota of positions, with transparency and fairness at the heart of the selection process.
