The Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA) has launched a road safety campaign in Western Kenya to promote safe use of roads.
The campaign was launched at the KURA regional offices in Kakamega by KURA board chair, Engineer Charles Chiuri, on Friday.
Chiuri regretted that every time KURA improves road infrastructure, motorists get excited and drive carelessly, leading to road accidents.
He said road accidents are very costly and they affect every phase of people's lives.
