Emily Kinya, the female police officer who was attacked by angry protesters in Nairobi's Central Business District (CBD) on Wednesday, June 25, has broken her silence.
Kinya was attacked by the protesters on Muindi Mbingu Street after her team was overpowered by the demonstrators, who began chasing after them.
While scampering for safety, she accidentally tripped and fell.
It was during the incident that she was attacked by the mob, which threatened to take away her life.
