Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has issued a notice for the temporary closure of a section of Mombasa Road between General Motors Roundabout and the Southern Bypass Interchange at Ole Sereni for one week. The closure will only affect the Nairobi-bound carriageway.
In a statement on Saturday, June 28, KeNHA Director General Kung'u Ndungu said that the stretch between FUSO(Simba Colt) and the Southern Bypass interchange will be affected.
He added that the section of the road will be closed from Saturday, July 5, 2025, to Saturday, July 12, 2025.
The week-long temporary closure is to facilitate essential highway maintenance work along the section.
