A section of Embu leaders has warned that the ongoing Gen Z-led protests, could plunge the country into anarchy.
Led by Senator Alexander Mundigi, the leaders said the past protests have proven to be detrimental to both economic and social fabric of the country.
He said if untamed, the protests that have led to loss of lives and massive looting and destruction of both public and private property could reverse the gains made so far. "What has taken us decades to build in terms of economy and social wellbeing could be lost forever if we are not careful," he said.
