Hanifa Adan has revealed that a 14-year-old girl who was injured during the June 25 protest died in the hospital while receiving treatment.
In her post on the socials on Tuesday, July 1, she said that the girl was in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Our Lady of Mercy before she passed on. "Unfortunately, a 14-year-old girl who was at Our Lady of Mercy and injured during the protest succumbed in the ICU and passed on," her post reads.
Hanifa said this after visiting the casualties who were also admitted to the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH) after the June 17 protest injuries.
