The county government of Homa Bay has completed the construction of a two-bedroom house for Albert Ojwang's father, barely a day before his son's burial.
In a statement on Thursday morning, Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga said Albert Ojwang's dream to build his parents a house had been fulfilled despite his absence.
The house, built adjacent to Mzee Ojwang's old house, was painted beige with a blend of white on the edges, bringing in the required brightness with a staircase at the entrance.
As you enter the house, you see a wide and elegant sitting room, painted in a light cream with cosy furniture and colourful curtains.
