West Pokot Governor Simon Kachapin has received medical supplies worth Sh36 million from the Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) to support 162 health facilities across the county as the new financial year begins.

The facilities include Kapenguria County Referral Hospital and the Sub-County hospitals in Kacheliba, Sigor, and Chepareria in the broader effort to ensure that every resident, regardless of their location, can access timely and reliable healthcare.

Speaking during the handing over of a consignment of drugs at Kapenguria County Referral Hospital (KCRH), the Governor said the supplies received was for the fourth quarter medical supplies and aims to bolster healthcare across the county.

Governor Kachapin emphasized professionalism, transparency and accountability in managing the medical drugs supplied to uphold public trust.
