At least 300 youths in Makueni County have been trained on essential soft and digital skills through a youth empowerment program organized by a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) Brighter Monday jointly with Anita Mbinya Foundation.
The youths who benefited were drawn from Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), Wote Campus and Makueni Vocational and Technical Training Institute (MIVEC).
Through the programme that is initiated by Anita who is the Spouse of Governor Mutula Kilonzo, youths will be equipped with skills crucial for employability and entrepreneurship hence make them self-reliant.
