Former National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) CEO Geoffrey Mwangi has decried a political witch hunt after attending an intense grilling by officers from the Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Mwangi revealed that he had received a call from the DCI Nakuru branch on Monday, informing him to appear at the offices on Thursday, July 3.
Heeding the call, Mwangi appeared and was grilled for allegedly orchestrating the chaos witnessed in Nakuru during the June 25 protests.
The ex-CEO was also accused of actively planning and financing similar chaos for the upcoming July 7 protests.
