Close to 105,000 children in Nandi County have been targeted for Measles and Typhoid vaccination campaigns, according to Chief Executive Committee Member for Health Dr.
Angeline Kirui.
Addressing the health stakeholders during a sensitization forum at Eliud Kipchoge Sports Complex, Kirui said the campaign to kick off on 5th July 2025 will target children between 9 months and 14 years.
She said the government rolled out the campaign after an upsurge of Typhoid and Measles cases across the country between the years 2021 and 2024.
