In a bid to safeguard the health of children, the County Government of Uasin Gishu, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, has launched a mass typhoid and measles-rubella vaccination campaign.

The 10-day campaign officially unveiled at Huruma Primary School and scheduled to run until July 13, 2025 targets a total of 567,000 children.

Some 430,017 children aged 9 months to 14 years are set to receive the Typhoid Conjugate Vaccine (TCV) and 137,127 children aged between 9 months and 59 months are earmarked for the Measles-Rubella (MR) vaccine.
