Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga has made sweeping changes to her cabinet in a deliberate effort to streamline service delivery in the county.
Through a Gazette notice, the county government explained that the changes were made to enhance the county's performance for the benefit of its residents.
Among the notable changes is the nomination of Elijah Munga as the new executive member for Youth and Sports.
His nomination has been forwarded to the Homa Bay County Assembly for vetting, and should he be approved, he will replace Sarah Malit, who has been reassigned as the executive member for Fisheries.
