Nairobi Woman Representative Esther Passaris has once again elicited a public uproar after accusing Standard Media Group of inciting the Sunday goons' attack on Kenyan mothers for a catchy headline.
The MP alluded that only the media, specifically the Standard, would benefit from the chaos witnessed during the planned press briefing that the Kenyan mothers had arranged at the Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC) offices in Nairobi. Although she denounced the attack, Passaris called out former Chief Justice David Maraga for accusing President William Ruto's administration of deploying the goons.
She claimed that the President had better, more important national duties to attend to, and if the presser had been a genuine threat, then he would have sent police officers to deal with it, not goons.
