Several businesses in Nanyuki, Laikipia County, remained open on Monday, July 7, 2025, despite ongoing demonstrations countrywide to mark Saba Saba.
However, some traders are yet to resume operations.
The government has assured business owners of adequate security, with Laikipia County Commissioner Onesmus Kyatha warning against the destruction of property during protests.
