Murang'a County is ready to launch the Climate Work Programme, a government initiative targeting youth unemployment while promoting environmental sustainability and climate resilience.
The programme is part of the broader Climate Resilience Service Programme (CRSP) and will be implemented by the State Departments of Roads and Housing.
On Sunday, the County Implementation Committee, led by County Commissioner Joshua Nkanatha, reviewed and confirmed that all the mandatory requirements had been met ahead of the rollout.
Commissioner Nkanatha emphasised the importance of following the government-issued checklist to the letter, stressing the need for transparency and accountability in the selection process.
