Beneficiaries of the Inua Jamii programme in Molo sub-county have been urged to ensure they do not miss out on the migration of the programme to the e-Citizen platform exercise to avoid complications in accessing their monthly stipend from early this year.

Speaking in Molo, the area Social Services boss, Gypson Kangogo, said that those left out would not be able to access their cash.

He said the department has therefore intensified mobilisation efforts through the chiefs, community, and religious leaders in a bid to ensure that information reaches everyone before the February 15th, 2025, migration deadline. "We are working with the local administrators and other leaders to ensure that all beneficiaries comply with this new directive," said Kangogo. "This is a very crucial exercise, and anyone who has this information should kindly share it out with any beneficiary out there," he added.

He further clarified that exercise was not meant to recruit new beneficiaries to the programme but to help serve the existing beneficiaries through the E-Citizen platform, which was expected to ease the service.
