Deputy President Prof.
Kithure Kindiki has called for tolerance to the newly appointed Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioners.
Kindiki, who spoke at Gokeharaka, Kuria East Sub County in an empowerment forum for local women groups and small-scale traders, assured the public that there was nothing to worry about in the forthcoming elections as the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has already been commissioned.
The swearing-in ceremony of the six IEBC commissioners and the chairperson, Erastus Edung Ethekon, on Friday, July 11, by Chief Justice Martha Koome paved the way for the seven to formally assume their roles at the Electoral Commission's offices at the Anniversary Towers building in Nairobi.
