Uasin Gishu County Department of Health Services has in collaboration with the Social Health Authority (SHA), conducted a comprehensive training session for facility in-charges and managers across all health facilities in the county.
The aim of the training was to facilitate smooth transition from the National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) to the new SHA framework, which was designed to streamline healthcare delivery and improve service efficiency.
The training session focused on the implementation of 'e-contracting' and the effective use of tablets introduced for digital claims processing.
Healthcare providers received essential guidance on how to submit claims electronically through SHA's Centralized Digital Platform.
