Isiolo County Governor Abdi Guyo has broken his silence following a recent spate of tragic events in the county that have left residents mourning and leaders at odds.
In an official statement dated Wednesday, July 16, Guyo condemned recent incidents that led to the death of five family members and a separate event where a blogger was killed.
The governor also called out political figures for exploiting the tragedies to advance personal agendas.
He condemned an incident that led to the death of Halima Ware, her three children, and a cousin in a fire believed to had been an arson attack by a woman suspected to had been in a love triangle with the victim.
