Kenya Meteorological Department has warned that many parts of the country will experience continuous heavy rainfall, cold weather starting from Tuesday, July 22, through Saturday 26, 2025.
In a weather report released on July 21, the department said that several counties will have rainy, cloudy conditions throughout the week.
According to the weatherman, the highlands East and West of the Rift Valley, the Lake Victoria Basin, the Rift Valley, and parts of Northwestern Kenya will experience chilly and cloudy conditions during this period.
Counties including Nandi, Kakamega, Vihiga, Bungoma, Siaya, Busia, Baringo, Nakuru, Trans Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Elgeyo Marakwet, West Pokot, Kisii, Nyamira, Kericho, Bomet, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Migori, and Narok are expected to experience sunny intervals in the mornings and light rains in some areas.
